The Asset Trail app is an all in one software, designed to work independently without the need for complex setup or reliance with other third-party software. It is a batch type application where all data is stored in it’s storage., which allows for a swift operation from the get-go.

Asset Trail allows for the following asset management features and functions:

• Import your assets list, sites, locations and other existing data into Asset Trail to help speed up the asset tracking process
• Instantly Create or Edit assets on the go
• Take pictures of your assets as you Create or Edit them
• Define the designated locations and other relevant information of assets
• Keep track of loan and/or possessions of assets with the Check Out and Check In functions
• Track the movements of assets with the Move function to ensure all movements between sites and locations are recorded
• Perform daily, monthly, yearly Audits (StockTake) to ensure assets are in their designated locations where they’re supposed to be
• Backup and restore data at your fingertips. Ability to copy the backup files onto other devices to help streamline the management of assets
• Export assets list, transaction record and other data from the App as CSV/Excel file and the ability to send the exported data with a sharing App, such as Outlook, Google Drive, WhatsApp, Skype etc.

It is NOT recommended to capture barcodes with the camera of your Android device.

The Asset Trail App Plus is a true AIDC program and is designed to work with Android devices that have a built-in barcode scanning engine. Click HERE for options.

Although using the camera of your Android phone is supported, it is definitely a flimsy and slow way of capturing barcodes therefore not recommended. Alternatively you could purchase one of our endorsed, pocket sized Bluetooth barcode scanners which relatively will turn your Android device into a complete barcode enterprise device saving you money.
